Discus charge a fixed monthly rate for their service with no additions for the support services they provide – no surprise, no shocks – just one simple monthly charge How Much Does it cost? Our charges are calculated based on the number of servers, computers and peripherals we support and whether they include both remote and on-site support – all contracts include access to our unique TotalCare® remote management package. How long is the contract? All contracts are MONTHLY - we bill you on the 24th of each month for the service we provide during that month, there need be no commitment beyond that month unless you specifically request a longer term contract. All contracts are reviewed anually. What is Remote Monitoring? Our TotalCare ® Monitoring system requires the installation of a small agent on all Servers and Workstations in your organisation, this software allows us to collect information24/7 appertaining to the performance and general well-being of the computer concerned. It also allows us to perform remote automated tasks such as: Virus and Malware software updates, Patch checking, Software Installation, Backup and Recovery and detailed management reporting. What about other hardware and Software Discus Systems have partnerships with many other vendors and we can include support and supply of many services including: Accounting Software, Sage & Pegasus, Telephone Systems, Panasonic & Alcatel, CRM Software, Sage and Maximizer, Software Developement and bespoke programming, Web Developement, Hardware Supply.
