C & H Howe Limited was founded in 1940 initially manufacturing metal toggle fasteners for the metal box industry in particular ammunition boxes during the Second World War.

In 1962 the company was incorporated remaining in the same ownership until 1985 when the current shareholders assumed ownership.

It was since 1985 that the automotive sector increasingly became the focus of C & H Howe and has since gained an excellent reputation with its Tier 1 customers and can boast that is is one of the most forward looking companies of its size.
